The Whispering Corridor was a narrow, oppressive passage designed around the legend of Kuchisake-onna, the Slit-Mouthed Woman. Rather than relying on a single jump scare, the room was built to make guests increasingly uncomfortable as they moved through it.

Dim red lighting, unsettling environmental audio, and whispered voices created the sense that something was following the group through the corridor. A delayed live camera feed added another layer to the experience, allowing guests to see themselves on a monitor moments after they had already passed through the space. The delay made the image feel less like surveillance and more like an echo of something that had just happened.
Kuchisake-onna inhabited the corridor itself, appearing in white face makeup and a kimono and confronting guests with the traditional question, “Am I pretty?” Their answer didn’t really matter. The encounter could turn into the more threatening promise, “I can make you pretty too.”
The room was deliberately simple in its storytelling. Guests didn’t need to know the Japanese legend to understand what was happening. The whispers, distorted sense of time, confined hallway, and recurring woman created the feeling that they had entered a place where something was very wrong, and that whatever lived there had noticed them.
